1. FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE (FFL) COMPLIANCE
We hold an active Federal Firearms License (FFL) and adhere to all ATF regulations (27 CFR § 478).
All firearm sales require:
Completed ATF Form 4473.
NICS background check (mandatory waiting period if applicable).
No sales to prohibited persons (e.g., felons, domestic abusers).
2. VIRGINIA STATE LAWS
Background Checks: Required for all firearm sales (including private sales processed through our FFL).
Waiting Period: None unless NICS delays approval.
Handgun Purchases: Limit of 1 handgun per 30 days (VA Code § 18.2-308.2:2). Exceptions for CCW holders.
Assault Weapons: No state ban, but compliance with federal restrictions.
3. PAWNBROKER REGULATIONS
Licensed under Virginia Pawnbroker Laws (VA Code § 54.1-4000 et seq.).
Loan Terms: Maximum 90 days (with VA-compliant interest rates).
Reporting: All pawned items logged in Virginia Pawn System to deter theft.
4. PRIVACY & RECORDKEEPING
ATF Requirements: Firearm records retained permanently.
Pawn Records: Held for 1 year post-transaction.
No Unauthorized Disclosures: Customer data shared only with law enforcement via subpoena.
5. PROHIBITED ITEMS
We do NOT accept:
Stolen goods (verified via law enforcement databases).
Unserialized/”ghost” firearms (per ATF Rule 2021-05F).
Explosives/illegal modifications (e.g., auto-sears).
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Firearm Safety: Buyers must certify they’re not prohibited and will use firearms lawfully.
Accurate ID: Provide valid government-issued identification.
Reporting Theft: Stolen firearms used in crimes may implicate the owner.
